Here are photographs and information of some ancient ruins visited while touring Thailand – and a couple from Cambodia and Laos.
This is not a religious page, however, by necessity, discussion of Angkoran buildings and other ancient structures and ruins in Thailand is about only those that are religious in nature because non-religious buildings such as dwellings were constructed of wood and other perishable materials and so have not survived. Religious buildings were constructed of stone and as such they are the only structures still extant.
