Buildings, statues, Sema stones and other artefacts at Wat Dong Thao Kao date from at least three distinctly different periods, and possibly more.
There is nothing left of the ancient Khmer temple other than the Sema (boundary) stones. They likely date from the 11-12th century.
The Wat is of comparatively recent construction. The statues are older but not as ancient as the Sema stones.
