Lochada Track is a 28 kilometre long connection between Mungada Road and Karara Road on the former Lochada Station, one of the six former pastoral properties that make up the Karara Rangeland Park.
In season it provides a stunning display of wildflowers. The 2024 season was exceptional.

Though the track is a relatively easy drive there are two spots that could be challenging after plenty of rain.

The Lochada Track crosses the historic Rabbit Proof Fence.

- Most of the wildflowers along the Lochada Track are yellow, however, in this area the colour treat is tripled.
Just as you think the Track could not produce any more visual delights, it throws in an avenue of natural colour and growth that looks coordinated.
Gates, the bane of drivers’ existence in station country, are few on the Lochada Track.
