Huai Thap Than Khmer Ruins (Ban Prasart Khmer Ruins)

The Huai Thap Than Khmer temple was built in the Khleang-Baphuon style – a distinctive phase of Khmer architecture that developed during the Angkorian period, particularly in the 11th and 12th centuries.

The use of tiered structures, detailed stone carvings, and alignment with cosmic symbolism were central to this style, which influenced the grander temples of the later Angkorian period, such as Angkor Wat.
